Announcements for the Week of January 11, 2026

  1. Our spiritual covering, Apostle Leroy Thompson, Sr. has released the prophetic focus for this year! 2026 is the year of full come back!  A text alert will be shared in the coming days, so that you can save the theme wallpaper to your phone.

  2. For the month of December, Mt. Gilead members led 6,404 people to Christ for a grand salvation total of 11,567 for 2025!!! Glory to God! As you witness to others about Jesus, let us know on the Slack App.  To join our team, visit our Online Registration page and click the Slack App icon.

  3. Husbands and wives, join our Marriage Ministry for a Valentine’s Date Night! We’re connecting on Friday, February 6th at 7PM here at Mt. Gilead for “Conversations on Intimacy.” No registration required.

  4. On Monday, January 12th, our Kingdom Overcomers Support Ministry is meeting at 7pm. This group supports those overcoming any type of addition including drugs, alcohol, gambling, pornography, social media, and food.  This confidential space is open to members and non-members.

  5. On Tuesday, January 13th, Elders meet with Overseers from 6:15pm to 8:00pm. Please visit our Helps Ministry Platform for specific meeting locations.  

  6. We’re hosting a Newlywed Check-Up Session after service on Sunday, January 18th. If you’d like to attend, please complete an Interest Form on our church Online Registration page.

  7. ­­Our next Marriage Readiness Course starts Sunday, January 25th! Assistant Pastor Kenneth Mitchell and his wife, Minister Audrea are excited to lead this six-week course on Sundays, following worship service.  The course is open to engaged couples, married couples in need of a recharge, or singles who want to posture themselves for a successful marriage.  Complete an Interest Form by visiting our church online registration page.

  8. Ladies, please join the WOW Network Support Ministries for their 2026 Kick-Off on Monday, January 26th at 6:30pm. These ministries are Human Services, Just Support, My Sister’s Keeper, and RARE Jewels. They cater to women in crisis, single moms, cancer survivors, and those overcoming separation, divorce, and domestic violence.
