Announcements for the Week of May 10, 2026

  1. Gilead, we won 38 souls for Christ during the month of April! Glory to God!  As you share the Good News, we want to hear about it.  Join Mt. Gilead on the Slack App.  For instructions, visit our Online Registration page.

  2. May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we want to be intentional about our mental health. This month, we’re releasing Mind of Christ Prayer Points to help you steward your thoughts.  Philippians 2:5 is the focus of our Mind of Christ ministry: “Let this mind be in you, which is also in Christ.”  Starting next week, these prayer points will be shared via email and text alert.  If you’re not already connected, sign up for our free text alerts to by texting the word “MtGileadFGIM” to the number 888-978-2501. 

  3. We are deploying two mission teams in May! One team is headed to Ghana and another team is traveling to Uganda.  Continue to keep our missionaries in prayer as we continue pursuing, advancing, and taking territories.

  4. On Monday, May 11th, our Kingdom Overcomers Support Ministry will meet at 7PM. This is a safe space if you are dealing with any form of addiction. 

  5. On Saturday, May 16th, bring your children out to GenSalve at the Farm! From 9:30AM to noon, kids will have the chance to volunteer and harvest the fruits and vegetables on the Mt. Gilead Farm. 

  6. Parents, get ready for an unforgettable week as GenSalve hosts Vacation Bible School this summer! Join us Monday, June 22nd through Friday, June 26th from 6pm – 8:30pm. Our theme is  “Illumination Station: Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is.”  This year’s VBS is designed for elementary students and will be filled with exciting activities, engaging lessons, fun games and great snacks. Registration is free and opens on Monday, May 11.

  7. Our next Marriage Readiness Course starts Sunday, May 17th immediately following worship service. Assistant Pastor Kenneth Mitchell and his wife, Minister Audrea lead this six-week class, which is open to engaged couples, married couples looking for a recharge, and singles who want to prepare themselves for marriage.  Complete our online Interest Form today.

  8. Calling all business owners! Registration is underway for our 2026 Economic Empowerment Business Symposium.  It’s happening on Saturday, June 6th from 9:00am to 2:30pm.  Our theme is “Kingdom Business: Practical Strategies that Manifest Results.” If you’re a business owner, we encourage you to attend.

  9. We look forward to recognizing our brave veterans who gave up their lives to protect our freedom. On Sunday, May 24th we will have a special presentation for Memorial Day.  If you are active or retired military, we encourage you to wear your uniform on this Sunday.
