Announcements for the Week of April 19, 2026

  1. On Tuesday, April 21st at 11AM, Mt. Gilead is hosting the home-going celebration for one of our members, Elder Delores Winfield. You’re encouraged to wear a shade of purple.  Please keep her family in prayer during this time. 

  2. Our Pro-Life Ministry, Genesis 45:7 is heading to the Virginia March for Life on Wednesday, April 22nd in downtown Richmond. The rally begins at 10AM and the march starts at 11AM.  Now, more than ever, it’s important to be a voice for the unborn and show up with love and truth.  If you’re interested in participating, contact Overseer Eddie Belfield.

  3. If you recently received salvation or rededicated your life to Christ, we have a special class just for you. Join us for our next Foundation for New Believers Class on Saturday, April 25th at 9:30AM.  Let us know you’re coming by registering on our church website.

  4. Our WOW Network Support Ministries are hosting individual encounters on Monday, April 27th from 6:30PM to 8:30PM. This includes My Sister’s Keeper, which ministers to single mothers; RARE Jewels, which supports to women overcoming separation, divorce, or domestic violence; and Just Support Extended, which caters to not only cancer survivors and their caregivers, but also ladies caring for elderly or aging loved ones.  For those interested in attending the “Just Support Extended” encounter, please register online.

  5. Our Pastoral Anniversary Celebration starts this month. We’re excited to honor Bishop Daniel & Co-Pastor Elena Robertson as they celebrate 36 years in ministry! Our kickoff rally takes place on Wednesday, April 29 at 7PM, followed by our Celebration Service on Sunday, May 3 at 10AM.  We’re excited to welcome Bishop Raphael Saitoti from Fountain of Life Church in Kiserian, Kenya as our guest speaker.  If you’d like to sow into our leaders online, visit our Online Giving page and select the “Pastoral Anniversary” icon.

  6. Registration is now open online for our 2026 Economic Empowerment Ministry Business Symposium on Saturday, June 6th. Our theme is “Kingdom Business: Practical Strategies that Manifest Results.” If you’re a business owner, we encourage you to attend.
