Announcements for the Week of May 31, 2026

  1. This past week, GenSalve RVA had the privilege of hosting the moving-on ceremonies for two of our partnership schools, Francis Elementary School and Boushall Middle School. We were honored to welcome their fifth and eighth grade students, families, and staff as they celebrated this important milestone. We are grateful to have partnered with these schools and wish all the students continued success as they move on to the next chapter.
  2. Join GenSalve at the Farm every third Saturday of the month from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. This is a great opportunity for students to grow, learn, and give back to the community through hands-on experiences and service. We would love to see your family there!
  3. Registration is now open for our 2026 Vacation Bible School! This year’s theme is Illumination Station: Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is, based on John 8:12. This will be happening June 22nd to June 26th from 6:00pm – 8:30pm. Registration is free and open to our elementary school students! Students will enjoy interactive lessons, games, themed activities, snacks and plenty of fun.
  4. GenSalve Elementary, we are headed to Kings Dominion on Sunday, June 14th after our Sunday Worship Encounter. The cost of registration is $55 which includes admission and a GenSalve T-shirt. We will also have an add-on meal option for students to enjoy before departure. Kindergarten and 1st grade students are welcome to join us, but must have a parent or guardian as their chaperone. Don’t miss this day full of fun and adventure!
  5. Our middle and high school students can join us on Wednesdays at 7pm for our GenSalve Sessions. We also offer Sunday classes each week for nursery through 8th grade students, providing age-appropriate biblical instruction and activities.
  6. GenSalve is currently seeking teachers to serve our elementary students. If you have a heart for children and a passion for helping the next generation grow in their faith, we would love for you to join the GenSalve team. Please fill out a Help’s Ministry application on our church website!
