Announcements for the Week of May 24, 2026

  1. We’re hosting a Community Farmers Market on Saturday, June 27th from 10AM to1PM! We want to bless the surrounding community with free, fresh produce from the Mt. Gilead Farm.  In addition to food, we’re providing prayer stations for those who desire encouragement.  If you’re interested in volunteering, stay tuned for a sign-up link that opens on June 1st. 
  2. Save the date for Camp Meeting 2026!! We look forward to joining Apostle Leroy Thompson, Sr. July 6th through 10th in Darrow, Louisiana.  Whether you attend in-person or online, register at EIWM.org.
  3. Operation Thunder is on the move! Our domestic missions ministry will host a Veteran’s Community Day at the V-A Medical Center on Saturday, June 13th. We plan to honor the veterans with a Fish Fry! Sign up on the church website if you’re able to volunteer with us!
  4. On Monday, May 25th the church campus will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.
  5. On Tuesday, May 26th Bishop Robertson is hosting a visionary impartation with Helps Ministry at 7PM. All members of Helps Ministry are encouraged to attend.
  6. Our next Spirit-Filled Prayer for the City Session is happening Tuesday, June 2nd at 7PM. This is a time for corporate intercession as we pray for Richmond and the surrounding communities.  Families are welcome, so invite your loved ones to join us.
  7. Sunday, May 24th is the deadline to register for our 2026 Economic Empowerment Business Symposium. It’s happening on Saturday, June 6th from 9:00am to 2:30pm.  Our theme is “Kingdom Business: Practical Strategies that Manifest Results.” If you’re a business owner, we encourage you to attend.  This business symposium is free and open to business owners at Mt. Gilead and within our partner ministries.
  8. Husbands and wives, registration is open for our next Marriage Ministry Fellowship! On Saturday, October 3rd, we’re heading on the water for the Spirit of Norfolk Dinner Cruise. This ship features two dining decks and three exterior observation decks. The cost is $200 per couple and includes a delicious meal and entertainment.
  9. May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we’re releasing Mind of Christ Prayer Points to help you steward your thoughts. Philippians 2:5 is the focus of our Mind of Christ ministry: “Let this mind be in you, which is also in Christ.”  These prayer points will be shared via email and text alert.  If you’re not already connected, sign up for our free text alerts to by texting the word “MtGileadFGIM” to the number 888-978-2501.
