Job Summary:

The Administrator reports to the Manager, Corporate Training and Development, and is responsible for developing and maintaining a learning management system (LMS) that will meet all regulatory compliance needs and ensure data accuracy and integrity. The duties of this job require a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of quality and accuracy in a new training department. In addition, performs multiple, high-level administrative functions in support of the organization-wide training program.

·    In collaboration with Estes IT, key stakeholders and department management, develops and maintains a learning management system that will meet all regulatory compliance needs and insure data accuracy and integrity in support of the organization-wide training program.

·    Accountable for the development and administration of the learning management system, training records and associated templates to ensure staff training documentation is complete.

·    Manage LMS functions which include monitoring course content, document control requirements, course approvals, and evaluation processes ensuring processes are completed and/or updated within appropriate timeframes.

·    Build/publish/archive online/instructor-led courses, assign training curricula, add/delete resources, monitor accounts, reset passwords, and maintain system parameters.

·    Administer LMS and third party servers, user accounts, and network security, e.g., roles and access levels.

·    Manage system maintenance, e.g., upgrades, updates, configuration, troubleshooting, and user testing.

·    Develop tracking mechanisms and schema to identify employee training requirements and qualification status.

·    Lead the establishment, documentation and enforcement of registration, scheduling, and cancellation policies and procedures.

·    Process course updates and monitor user access for monthly usage reporting

·    Provide training and technical support to users, supervisors, administrators, and others who interact with the learning management system; resolve issues.

·    Liaison to technical personnel (i.e., Estes Service Desk)

·    Regular attendance is required.

Qualifications:

·    Bachelor’s degree in a field related to instructional technology, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience

·    Thorough knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and Abode Acrobat Professional is required.

·    Strong ability to communicate ideas, both written and ****, clearly and concisely required

·    A minimum of two (2) years of experience with learning management systems required. Experience as an administrator highly preferred.

·    Experience with staff training programs or learning management administration, process improvement, project management preferred.

·    Experience with Cornerstone/Saba Learning Cloud preferred.

·    Strong problem solving and decision making skills required for responding to LMS user issues

·    Experience with online learning management systems and e-learning, course authoring software is preferred

·    Supply chain and/or transportation experience preferred

·    Knowledge of online learning and web-based applications

·    Knowledge of and proficiency in research, analysis and reporting methods

·    Strong ability to provide clarification and feedback

·    Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

·    Must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job

·    Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct

·    Must be able to interact well with others

·    Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting

·    Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities

·    Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines

·    Must pass a pre-employment **** screen, random **** and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check

·    Must be authorized to work in the United States
